Which coach would refuse friendlies?

The Football Kenya Federation claim that the departed Harambee Stars coach Adel Amrouche did not accept friendly matches during his tenure and blame the loss to Lesotho squarely on he and his technical team.
First off, I think that blaming the technical team makes sense because of some of the decisions made, especially regarding selection.
That said, I think that they exonerating themselves from the Stars fiasco is just wrong.
First, what coach would refuse friendly matches as the FKF claim? That is unless they are friendlies against local lower league sides.
There is no coach who would refuse to have his team play a good friendly match. Does not make sense, will never make sense. Even the Federation would have an issue with such a coach.
What Stars coach would refuse to face Burkina Faso, Togo or Nigeria, or Ivory Coast? Please..
Secondly, the FKF talks of promoting the age group teams that have taken part in international competitions and I wonder what they mean by that?
The national under 17 team failed to travel for a qualifier in recent times and I remember the FKF top brass officials being in Brazil at that time.
And even in the cases where they have supposedly done so, we have heard reports of players not being paid allowances and not having playing uniform as well as being locked up in hotels.
So is that what they are referring to?
Truth is, the FKF have had no and still do not have any agenda for the national team. That is the reality and will not change as long as they are in office.
And unless they change completely their vision and mission for the game in the coming regime, the stories of Bobby Williamson working for a legacy and what not, will not come to fruition.
