Kirinya replace Ikara with BUL keeper

Kirinya United have acquired the services of goalkeeper Didi Muhammad on a one year deal.

The team recently lost the services of long-serving first choice keeper Tom Ikara who crossed to KCCA FC on a 20-million shillings deal.

Muhammad joins from BUL FC where he has spent half a season. The keeper struggled to get playtime where he was third in the line behind Hannington Sebwalunyo and Paul Mujampani.

- We have brought him to cover the gap that Ikara left. I believe he is a good addition and brings in a lot of experience which we need in the second leg, Kirinya Jinja SS coach Charles Ayiekoh told Futaa. Didi has previously played for BUL, Bugembe United,  Water, Sadolin Paints (now Kansai Plascon FC) and Soana.

He will challenge former Paidha Black Angels keeper Emmanuel Rubanke and Ronald Opoka for the starting role.
