Futsal: Parakeets to change approach against Bajim

Parakeets coach, David Bbale, has said that his team has to change the style of play if they’re to end their current poor performance.

The club has won only one and drawn one of their last nine games, a run that has left them at the bottom of the table with only two matches remaining to end the first half of the season.

They lost 5-1 to Dream FC in their last outing. The team has scored only 21 goals –the second lowest tally in the league- and conceded a whooping 45.

Perhaps, that is the main reason tickling Bbale to shift from a defensive system to a more direct and attacking style.

- We played two trial matches which we won. The players are set and in a good condition to get our second victory. We are going to open up and play a more attacking game unlike what we have been playing. I expect several additions in the second round, so we have to change the style to one that favours them, Bbale said in his pre-match comment.

In the other matches, leaders KSPG and Dream will play against Yap Stars and Yeak Kabowa respectively.

All the games will be played at the International Futsal courts in Mengo.
