Chan 2018: Micho to ‘fine-tune’ Uganda’s opponents ahead of opener

Zambia’s team heading to Morocco for the 2018 Africa Nations Championship has arrived in Johannesburg for their last build up match. 

The Chipolopolo will play against Premier Soccer League giants Orlando Pirates on Wednesday.

The team is currently coached by immediate former Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic. 

The Zambians will head to Morocco later on Wednesday evening through Dubai. They  will open their group account against Uganda Cranes on Sunday 14th January before facing Ivory Coast and Namibia in the other group B games 

Zambia’s squad

Goalkeepers; Moses Mapulanga (Nkana), Toaster Nsabata (Zanaco), Allan Chibwe (Power Dynamos).

Defenders; Simon Silwimba, Fackson Kapumbu (both Zesco United), Lawrence Chungu, Isaac Shamujompa (both Power Dynamos), John Mwangeni (Nkana), Ziyo Tembo (Zanaco) Adrian Chama (Green Buffaloes).

Midfielders; Donashano Malama (Nkana), Kondwani Mtonga (Zesco United), Jack Chirwa, Mike Katiba (both Green Buffaloes), Larry Bwalya, Godfrey Ngwenya (both Power Dynamos, Augustine Mulenga, Ernest Mbewe (both Zanaco).
