CHAN 2018: We must improve defensively, says Uganda Cranes captain

Uganda Cranes captain Bernard Muwanga has urged the team to improve the defence if they're to perform better in the 2018 Africa Nations Championships.

Muwanga was impressed with the team's result after the 1-all draw against Guinea on Saturday but not much with the goal conceded.

- It was our first preparatory match ahead of the finals so I think we played well though it was not the result we expected. The team has picked some good lessons, especially in defence. We have to improve and tighten the defence to minimise chances of conceding if we are to go past the groups, Muwanga said.

Uganda will be back in action against Congo Brazzaville in Rabat on Tuesday before shifting to Marrakech.
