Shonga makes his Orlando Pirates debut

Justin Shonga made his Orlando Pirates debut on Saturday, he played the last 24 minutes of their 2 all draw with Polokwane City.

Shonga nearly marked his debut with goal in the 86th minute, but the only for the former Nkwazi talisman to fire into the side-netting from a tight angle.

Former Sensational Zanaco midfielder Salulani Phiri also played for Polokwane City.

Pirates opened the scoring in the 50th minute through Thamsaqa Gabuza. Rise and Shine responded with two quick goals in the 60th and 69th minute through Rendani Ndou and Rodney Ramangalela respectively.

Polokwane looked like they were heading for a victory but Gabuza equalised in the dying minutes to salvage a point for Milutin Sredojevic.
