Lubega named man of the match as club ends winless spell

Uganda Cranes striker Edrisa Lubega was named man of the match as his club Floridsdorfer Athletics ended a five match winless streak with a 2-0 victory over Hartberg.

The club suffered relegation from the second tier at the end of last season and has been struggling to find their feet with three losses and a draw.

Lubega was drafted back to the starting team after missing out in the 5-0 humiliation away to Austria Lustenau. Völkl put the team in the lead from the spot three minutes into the second half.

Lubega doubled the lead in the 52nd minute with a clinical header from Hinterberger.

He was withdrawn later in the added minutes for Czech Republic national Tomas Docekal.
