Kalungi assist harvests point for Charlotte in Toronto.

Henry Kalungi assisted Jaime Siaj for Charlotte Independence's second goal as the North Carolina club picked a 2-2 draw at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario.

After a gruelling barren first half, Jordan PatricK Hamilton completed Tsubasa Endoh's short pass inside the box with his second touch to put the Toronto side ahead just four minutes into the second half.

Toronto Goalkeeper Mark Pais gifted Charlotte an equaliser after failing to tame Joel Johnson's 62nd minute cross from his near angle.

Joel had rushed to the byline before unleashing a low drive.

Jaime Siaj put Charlotte ahead in the 79th after making a half-field sprint to meet Henry Kalungi's clever long chip.

The match eventually ended two all following Hamilton's late strike.

The draw maintains Charlotte's summit spot with their next match set for Sunday against Azake Luboyera's Ottawa Fury.
