Ethiopia PL wap up: Odongkara makes history, Ntambi’s Bunna relegated
Uganda Cranes goalie Robert Odongkara became the first foreign player to win five Ethiopiana premier league titles.

Despite missing the latter stages of the league due to injury, the lanky keeper was still awarded for helping St. George FC. St. George is also home to Uganda Cranes midfielder yassar Mugerwa.

Burkina Faso striker Bacary Kone scored the lone goal on Sunday as the Horsemen downed Nigid Bankers to end the league with 62 points, eleven ahead of

Dedebit.

This becomes St. George’s 29th title and fifth in the last six years with Odongkara in their ranks.

On the other side of the table, Krizestom Ntambi’s Jimma Aba Bunna lost 1-0 to Dire Dawa Kenema and subsequently relegated to the second divison.

Addis Ababa Katema was also relegated from the top tier.
